I'm pretty much the same way. I am an electronics junkie. I didn't really need this scope... but... I thought, "just one more, then I'll stop."
Next thing you know, you're laying behind a dumpster at Digikey, OD'ing on pcb's. -
Actually what you need to do is check the product temp before you haul it otherwise once you get to the destination the receiver will blame you this is a dodgey practice some shippers use to shift blame when i say check it make sure you actually get a reading off the produce not just the box that holds it. This will save you lots of rejected loads and put the blame squarely where it should be on the shipper. If your reefer is set to the recommended temp and their still saying its too warm then its defiantly the shipper unless they can prove your reefer isn't pulling down to the right temp..Last edited: Jul 14, 2017

hahahaha! WOW~! You ever pass thru Ohio? My kid in college in Florida used to hook me up with all that stuff, LoL. ( I pay good, btw! )

See i been hauling couple years now ,things i learn ,you can prove your refer is running correctly, by taking to were ever your refer make is ,if duel temp ,up by controls ,if thermo king ,you take to there shop ,they will hook up to them ports and can print you out a copy ,from point a to b ,next lots shippers will load the product hot ,and once it hits that cool trl ,you were suppse to b at temp, before you get there ,its like 112 to 55 ,thats too much change at once ,cause all kinds of weird stuff happen to your produce, like i got a load in negauls NM ,i waited all day ,what happen they off loaded from a cargo ship ,to my truck at my temp, once i got to rec 1234 miles away the last 3 three pallettes were frozen of cantalop ,went to thermo king proved them wrong ,it was shipper fault for having to close to cooler on the ship ,so now i stand on dock and wacth it load it if i can ,thats why i want to buy one those guns to make sure its not frozen and i google canatlop see what color it supposed to be and unfrozen too ,then mexican down there are mad at me cause i wont load it if wrong color,no more slip and slide like last time ,they wanna load you fast and get going.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Better than hauling onions on a flatbed / conestoga, and having them rejected~!
Everett Thanks this. -
I just hauled a loaded of onions and got rejected 5 bags ,and i was proved not at fault ,its the forklift guy who loaded it ,he pushed so hard it popped the bags on the bottom of the pallett and then hide em up front in the refer and i couldnt see em cause last load i took out there was perfect ,so they the broker knows i wacth it going down the road and he try ro blame me and the broker shut him down quik so it between those 2 and im in the clear
G13Tomcat Thanks this.
