Please drivers: don't assume things when you pull up to the fuel island

I have a solution tho , let me use your card and when i see ya down the road sometime ill return the favor . Deal ? Yea dude , go ahead filler up and put all the roller dogs you can carry on it too . Lol

Doing the pump dance has been going on for years. Back in the mid 90's i pulled into the Petro in Amarillo and waited behind a driver to finish pumping fuel. After he had done his business he pulled up and i moved ahead to the pump. As i was about to start my transaction this guy parked behind me comes up and says i need to move out of his way. He says, " We are an expedited team and have priority fueling". Now remember, there is another truck in front of me getting his receipts. How did this idiot think i could move. Never said a word to him, just started fueling. He is fuming, pacing back and forth. Finally goes back to his truck. I hadn't planned on getting Reefer fuel, but decided that i just would top off the tank. Now he is really getting upset. I finished and went to park to go get dinner. Last i saw of him, he was speeding thru the parking lot headed to the exit.
So, there have been idiots out there for many years.

 

Not just any white wall , get them trucker vogues aww what the hell full service too .

No your right however understanding why some drivers may be getting "annoyed" will cool down the situation, I understand the issue you were having was genuine and valid you were not trying to deliberately do your shopping while parked at the fuel station, unfortunately so many do, and yes some drivers wrongly assume you're one of them which as they say "assumption is the mother of all evil. " Its a two way street not one way, yes it would be good if they were to approach you and find out what the issue is, but its also good if you'd explain why specially if you continue to have these issues with your new scam proof card. I wonder how everyone got on with that Crowdstrike download issue, that affected banks, airlines, and EFT machines all around the world? Would of been a few drivers waiting in line on that day.
