Looks pretty simple to me. Left button locks/unlocks the fifth wheel locking jaws, middle button locks/unlocks the fifth wheel slide, right button locks/unlocks the interaxle differential. Do I win a cookie?
Please explain how to use the 5th wheel release buttons on this Kenworth 660 dash.

I have never tried to get tail gaters off my tail but I do know it is nice to set the brakes jump out lower the legs on the trailer, pull the wires and lines jump back in and pull the jaws and away you go! be careful pulling out! make sure your trailer stays up right! I watched a guy up in MT at a J that lowered his landing geear and didn't notice the far side was in a 6 inch drainage trench and he pulled away from the trailer it went over and lean softly on its neighbor! about 3 hours later and a big bill he parked it in another slot and was a little more careful where he left his trailer.

There should be a second switch to complete the process, just above those 3 that you pull out for about 10 sec push back in and then when you release the tractor brakes it will open the jaws.
