    Hi experts

I am a new o/o driver. As my english is not as native English speaker, nobody wanted me. So, I had to buy a new truck two month ago. From the first day, the truck had problems. However, I trusted their promise to fix. Since the first day, I had to put my truck at the dearlers service center many days. In the begining, they seemed to agree my truck problem. And, when I pick up the truck, they said the problems were fixed. However, there were still same problems exist. So, I had to visit them repetely. Then, they disagreed my claim after 2-3 times my repete visiting. Finally, I could meet their manager last thursday. We had test drive together. After next day of the test driving, He said he checked and found problem. He told me they can fix it quickly. However, this morning, when I meet him again,he said that he is still checking. I hope he find it so quickly. Because of the problem, my first month's total income was $2,000. And, second month will be around same. I have to pay $3,300 payment and need living income.
I am suffering so much now. Please advice me what can I do to solve this matter. I am always driving mountains- vancouver to calgary. My truck is not working abs break, traction control and problems of gear shifting. Also, my truck ranked 3.4miles per gallon. Please help me. I am so suffered by my financial problems. Please help me. I need your help.

You said you bought a new truck - so it should have come with a warranty? They should be fixing the problems for you - if not, get a lawyer NOW- IMMDIATELY. Also, when you got physical damage insurance, did you purchase some insurance that would cover your down time? If not, add this to your insurance,so that when it happens again, you'll have money. A new truck should be getting at least 5 mpg, even in the rockies, even in the winter. You have serious problems. I would get a lawyer, if they don't fix the problems soon.

BTW, try to get the longer trips to Ontario/Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces if they pay good. That will get you out of the rockies and onto flatter land. Also, there is more freight in Ontario/Quebec, some of which may pay well back to Alberta and BC. I am in Calgary right now, and I know there isn't much paying freight.

Good luck and God bless or Allah bless or Budda bless, whomever you worship.

You said you bought a NEW truck, then mention bunch of issues and problems, but don't detail them. Then I was thinking it's an old truck.....then you say $3,300 payment, so we're back to new now I think (???)

I doubt this quandry can be solved on an internet forum......but if you went into detail, who lnows.

With a $3300 payment just file bankruptcy now.

Sorry to be harsh or brutal, but you will not succeed with that big of a payment. Some times the truth is the harshest of all.

I was thinking the same thing 3300 is a big payment. you said that the truck was new. If you have a new truck it should have a warranty either way you may need to talk to a lawyer asap

There's more to this story somewhere.

Anyway, now really isn't the time to be asking the first questions. If this is a lease, walk away. If not there is obviously some tremendous source of capital and credit or support system behind this for any bank to have approved such a deal.

He said in his other post that it was a new '08 International Prostar two months ago. $3300 is a huge payment to be weighed down with.

Okay, if you mean 3300 CAD that would be 2650 or so in US dollars. Very high payment I think, but it's also posted your truck is new? EVERYTHING should be under warranty although I'm not familiar with Canadian sales policies or warrantees. I think the advice to contact a lawyer was very prudent.
