Schneider is hiring reefer drivers for their Schreiber Foods dedicated account. I saw a couple ads for it.

No need to spell it out for me. I leased from Prime for nearly two years. The picture you painted in your original post said nothing about trainee pay. Sorry you eded up with a greedy, tightwad trainer. All totaled, my fixed payments were right around $1,100/week. If you get a good truck, you can still easiy clear $800/week after everything. I had a lemon.

There were two more options your FM did not tell you about. You could switch FMs because it sounds like this one was blowing smoke up your arse or you could team with someone besides your trainer who might pay a more fair rate. Still, 5,000 miles/week at 12cpm is $600/week. Right now, you're making nothing. This is the kind of crap that happens when you take the word of one person. Maybe going and talking to Steve ot Stan might have given you more options. Everybody at Prime has a supervisor except Rob Lowe. And he has an open door.

So save your talking down to anyone until you know their whole story. Pick your company and get back to work.

That "Luke" character was blowin' some serious smoke up your arse... they ALWAYS have company trucks available. He was just trying to pad his board if you ask me...

Sorry it turned out that way for ya!

You know you're going to be responsible for the tuition to PSD if you leave? I'd call the main number and talk to Steve Larson before you do something you can't change...

BTC. I worked for them for a year. Good company, better now that they finally got ez pass & pre pass. You will be home every weekend. Make good money. Good luck.

I would say maverick. I have been there for years. They might not be the best. But they work the best for me. Depending on where you live you will get home on weekends.

The Schneider reefer opp could also be Wal-Mart dedicated. Depending upon the center you're out of, it could be good or bad. Some of those dedicated WM trucks are also beat to death, as they're slip-seated and a lot of drivers just don't give a diddly squat about maintaining them (IMHO).
