Trying to get back into trucking. Used to drive OTR years ago. Been back at it about a year but can't find a good reliable company to stick with. Can anyone just name 1 decent company please?! Thanks

I didn't have many complaints about Crete when I was there. If I hadn't screwed up, I'd be there still, probably.

Well nif you haven't had any recient experience id suggest. Central refrigerated might have to stay with them for a year then move on just stay away from the lease.

Schneider National I ran a dedicated account with them. I had no real complaints.

NOTE to OP: The 3 companies in the 3 above quotes suck....they are for new drivers that dont put forth the effort to find a good company to start with, you have OTR exp and recent exp dont lower yourself to this BFI companys levels.....

Really AT I didn't spend 6 months looking at different company's to go with. I choose to go with Schneider As they provided me with what I was looking for and needed from a company. I have a friend at Crete it works for him and what he needs. And I disagree with statement that Schneider is a BFI. How long did you work for Schneider, Crete, Central refrigerated in order to claim they suck and are BFI's or are you just spouting off uneducated opinion's

Hey AT, its not always about what other think. Its more often about what the driver needs to have. Schneider, by and large has a decent reputation among the drivers that I have spoken with. As well as the mechanics that I have spoken with about the various companies that they deal with every day.
