His name is steve Clark. He has been driving most of his adult life, he's 67 years old. He's done agriculture hauling. He's driven for walton, duncan, and titan. Walton and duncan are both milk haulers, and titan is an agricultural services provider. He is still currently a driver for titan and as recently as a couple of days ago he was driving truck hauling hay.
He is also a retired registered nurse, which he has had a dual career, he would do nursing by night and truck driving in the day. My wife knows him from the hospital and I know him from talking with him at the plant while he worked for duncan.
He was also an ordained minister and actually performed the marriage ceremony for one of my farmers sons. He's literally been around agriculture his entire life. I would by loading milk at my morning farm and he would be driving for titan blowing the air horn for me lol.
A few months back he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Recently a test was done to see how bad it was. They were supposed to do surgery which they canceled because it was too far spread. He is undergoing chemo, his first treatment was yesterday.
A professional driver and a nurse, he's worked his butt off his entire life. He's a great man and I worry about him.
Please put my friend and fellow driver in your prayers

I've determined, life is a total crap shoot, no rhyme or reason for what goes on. Not a religious man, prayers do little but console the prayee, and not starting this again, but G-d has a plan, and nobody is exempt. I can say that being relatively healthy, but it's a bridge we all must cross. Best of luck.
austinmike, homeskillet, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this. -
Praying for a speedy recovery and strength to fight this!

Today hit him pretty bad. Throwing up and vomiting. Despite all of this he plans on going back to driving truck. These young punks that are half his age and healthy and yet want to do absolutely nothing but sit around on welfare piss me off. Steve is 67 years old. I think he is one of those drivers that loves driving truck

He sounds like a salt of the Earth type. I wish him the best.
Chemo takes a lot out of you. But people do beat cancer all the time. -
Praying for strength and encouragement to fight through this tough time. Let the Lord use this to strengthen my brother!!!!
