Hard to tell what I'm looking at. Is that just a compuchek fitting off the governor bolted to the dryer?
pavrom, D.Tibbitt, Goodysnap and 1 other person Thank this. -
It looks like the governor.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Maybe a high pressure safety switch? Never saw one on a governor. Exhaust port already acts as high pressure switch.
pavrom Thanks this. -
Almost looks like the safety pressure relief valve but hard to tell from the angle of the picture.
pavrom Thanks this. -
Can u take another picture with out the soap?

Compucheck fitting for manual inflation.
austinmike, krupa530, pavrom and 6 others Thank this. -
It's a Parker 60 series nipple https://ph.parker.com/us/en/quick-c...i-iso-7241-series-b-60-series-nipples/bh1-61w used to air the truck up with shop air. Pretty handy. Could just plug it, more of a luxury.

I would unscrew it and replace it with a regular Schrader type air valve.
That way you can air it up anywhere if needed.Keepforgettingmypassword Thanks this.
