What do you look for? You have forms filled out to check off? Just looking for basic advice on how others handle their PMs. Thanks

There is no difference to me. Oil and filters, fuel filters as needed, lube everything. I change oil every 12k though.

Do you have a checklist that you check off and file? Do you pull dust shields to check brake linings? Or do you just do your PM checks at regular service intervals and fix what needs fixing then? I'm assuming like little trucks once you get them tight it's easy to keep them tight. It's a little more daunting on a big truck because there is so much more to look at. I think that the grease gun is your friend and just crawling around and being familiar with it is a good start.

In other words grease it front to back every other weekend. Oil change every 10-12k. And do a thorough pre-trip.

I don't worry about oil breakdown, the issue is that it gets dirty. I don't use synthetic oil but after hearing about a 12.7 with 4.3 million and one set of injectors, overhead once a year I have just started to add Lucas to the oil. Synthetic oil gets just as dirty as regular oil so my change intervals would still be the same. I know some of you have seen these new trucks with bad cams and rollers with 500k on the clock. I attribute that to the longer oil change intervals.

No I don't have a list. Don't have dust cover either. To me it is a simple thing of repetition.
