seriously starting to question if they just want this thing to fall apart. Just got told that my next pm window is march 29 to April 12. So. I had last PM done in first week of December. Ugh...

fall apart?
-
I mean, I can get it fixed up when something breaks but for some reason I was under the impression that PM's should be done more often than every 50k+ miles. That and it'll make it more than 90k for an oil change
-
Yes they want it to fall apart. 10 days after my oil change the oil.level is higher, my coolant level is lower (albeit slightly), the oil has a translucent milky color and sparkles in the sun.Friday Thanks this. -
Short-term preventive maintenance cost the company money and in corporate eyes these are short-term trucks and we are short-term expenses
-
Don't spend money on maintenance e when the driver sits for free. Just fix it when it's broke.
milehunter43, 91B20H8 and Friday Thank this. -
So had a b pm done 10 days ago. Asked for new drive tires, was told they were all above change stance. I'm at a wingfoot for a trailer tire and they're replacing at least 4 possibly more drive tires. Stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime.
Bakerman, Home_on_wheels, Opus and 3 others Thank this. -
To be REALLY honest I could care less if they do it once a month or once a year. Well I care a little. I do feel bad for whoever buys this truck afterwards. Or any sni truck.
What is really grinding my gears is that my cruise won't get turned up until next PM. So not until end of march/beginning of April.Home_on_wheels, 91B20H8 and SingingWolf Thank this. -
Oh God I hate seeing that PM message come over the qualcomm. Every time the truck goes in for a PM, it leaves with a newfound issue and I'm back in the shop within the week. Every single time, all 3 trucks.
