Why are pneumatic tankers called pneumatic tankers?
I know that the word pneumatic means air pressure. But what is the connection between pneumatic tankers and air pressure?

Blow off has two meanings, pneumatic blowers are usually PTO driven 'blowers' like the GM units on top of a dragster engine BUT non-flammable liquids can be pressurized and things like acids are usually 'blown off' using compressed air, either plant or tractor supplied.Long FLD, expedite_it and RockinChair Thank this. -
