You're the only one responsible for knowing if you've cleared the vehicle you just passed. Prime drivers are taught not to help you drive your own truck and worry about driving their own.

Your liability is yours, their liability is their. Your entry was the silliest sir.

I agree that the driver is responsible for his/own clearance and owns his/her own liability. However, I don't think it is one bit silly for one driver to look out for another.

 

That part isn't silly. Faulting the company for covering it's drivers and itself is though. IMHO.

I personally prefer that other drivers DONT try to help me drive my truck....I know when I'm clear and when I'm not
