how about taking your 10 hour break on top of a scale...I've seen that once! Now that was crazy!

 

It's ok. I spent most of my career in LTL. I drove for DHL, Airborne Express, FedEx and now the post office. Us mail haulers don't exactly have a reputation for going slow. We eat bull haulers for breakfast.

I'm not going to single out any companies as there are good and bad drivers with all of them. I'm only going to go with types of hauling, and even at that I only really have issues with 2 of them, because that's where I HAVE SEEN some of the worst equipment, some of the worst drivers, and some of the most inconsiderate. Now, if any of you drive in one of these two groups of trucking, I don't mean to offend. There are good drivers here as well. It's just that, in my years on the road, the worst seem to come from these two groups.

1. Container haulers
2. Trash haulers

 

I don't recall ever being passed by a mail truck. Of course my cow hauling days are almost over, ahh the good times. Any time a trooper goes over a 100 mph they need a Bull Hauler escort.
