I think they're terrible ugly. But I'd still rather have a Lonestar than any Peterbilt. I despise the Pete's with everything in me. I know they're good trucks and all, I just hate them.

I'm not a huge Pete fan either. They all seem to get dressed up the same so they never stand out.

Really? Someone who likes two of the ugliest jelly beans ever is critical of something that actually has a shape to it? Bet you liked the late 90's Ford Taurus too?

This is exactly why I despise them.

Around here, when I was younger, everyone had a Ford Mustang. They all looked about the same, but everyone that had one thought they had something really special, when in fact it was nothing but a stock mustang with fancy wheels and exhaust. They all looked and sounded the same.

The Pete's tend to be the same way in my eyes. And now that they're on their third or fourth owner, many around here are just ratted out junk with straight pipes, and usually a driver with an attitude.

That's not to say they all are that way. I've seen more than a few really good looking Pete's. And they're classy too. But, a 1996 379 with the paint peeling off it, hood of a different color, with straight pipes is hardly classy or nice. And these are the clowns that have the attitude. And so I despise those types.

    Why what?

The Lonestar is pretty ugly. They remind me of a Chrysler PT cruiser. But, they're ugly in a kind of neat way. You have to admit, International really went out on a limb with the Lonestar. Too bad they also thought the Maxxfarce was a good idea.

All that said, If I were choosing between the Lonestar and any Pete, I'd pick the Lonestar.

    Favorite car?

Even though you said no foreign cars, I absolutely love our Subaru Forester. Thing goes anywhere I'd ever take a car, or even a truck. I have yet to find anything that it won't do. Sure, it's not the coolest car around, but at my age, it ain't about cool anymore. It's about functional.

As far as American cars? I love the new old Dodge Challenger.
