Well, I endup replacing both Nox sensors and installing "Def awaining kit".
as i mentioned in startup i start having trouble after installing thermostat, so freightliner update computer software also.
i tested only twice end of winter, no issues.

I did this at end of March in April i ve had bit lower temp like -5, truck went perfect.
I am crossing my fingers for comming winter.
Thanks -
i called so many times to freightliner one representative told me my def is "crystallizing" so he was right.!!!
i took it to freightliner without removing errorsnby regen. and they found def crystallized. -
I have the same problem going on for 7 months, change one box, def metering unit, new def filter , def header, nox inlet and outlet sensor, every single sensor that has something to do with the def and I still have the same problem def qualitycode ... please help if you have any info? All repairs done in premiertruck group Freightliner dealership ..

well
i think you might have electric problem as all of diagnostic procedures mention check current (power) to sensors, bad current could dodge computer to throw wrong error codes.
kindly write some error codes and what happens if you keep driving with errors. -
As I said in your other thread: Verify the DEF you're using is of adequate quality.

This code has been a problem in my 2016, it's definitely a crystaliztion of def, they go and fish it out with a kit and it's usually a warranty thing, I hate Def systems
-
If you're getting codes 4364 18, 4364 01 - NOx conversion Low, NOx conversion very Low and 3364 02 - DEF quality replace both your inlet and outlet NOx sensors. There's nothing wrong with your DEF. Hundreds of thousands of trucks buy DEF from the pumps daily. If the DEF was bad at the pumps there would be thousands of trucks at repair shops daily for bad DEF.
Would also be wise to clean your DEF metering unit, it can crystalize. There's 2 small filter screens and an orifice. Just clean with hot water. There's a few videos on you tube how to... -
good advice
