Port Search

I deliver to several state/federal prisons, depending on the guard, some will confiscate my pocket knife, leatherman and the small utility knife I have in my tool box, and I can retrieve them on the way out. Other guards will just make me lock all of it in the side compartment. Every military base is different, and it also depends on the "security conditions" the base is operating on. In the early 2000's we were on Kirtland AFB every other week, they would cursory search the truck, then have the X-ray truck check it, if the X-ray truck had no anomalies, I was good to go, if it did, they'd search the entire cab. F.E. Warren, Carson and Schriever are entirely different animals. Last time I was on Schriver, they checked every nook and cranny of the cab and used mirrors and cameras underneath.
