    I'm hoping mine lasts longer.

The cheap one i had coming from HD ran for 2 hours. Wouldn't start the next day. So i traded for the ryobi.

I'm kind of thinking I might go for a 3000 watter though. Not that i need that power but just in case. It be nice to have. Although that DOES take the weight factor up a bit.

I see they have DUAL gas options. Propane and gas.

I suppose you talking about running a portable AC via standard inverter?

I have a 9000btu portable a/c, powered by Ryobi 1800/2300 gen/inverter. it cools the sleeper area to a comfortable 65degrees in 100degree weather.

I think an 800 watt inverter is all that's needed to run a small window ac.

The one i had only pulled 350 watts.

I was at harbor freight this morning and saw a predator generator 7K running watts for $539.

I've been using a indoor unit for months now. Worked fine but I wasn't happy with the wattage and it ran 8hrs tops with the compressor going no stop.

Was delivering to a place we all hate, and talked to a driver who loaded out the same place as me. Saw my predator gen and laughed, saying he has the same thing except a diff brand.

He was running a window unit and what got me is him being able to run 15+ hrs by his claim. I didn't realize they were THAT efficient.

Swapped out my indoor for for a window and so far it's a lot better. Ran it 4 hours and my gas needle has barely moved, with my indoor of be half a tank.

And my gen to my ear isn't idling up to run this.

Figured someone might find this tidbit useful.

Well, I got to use my Ryobi. ONCE. Over the Fall season.

My boy tried to start it up 2 weeks ago. NO GO.
Can smell gas out the exhaust so I'm guessing the spark plug already blew out.

    10 4 on the stabil.

Question... when you last ran it when you shout it off did you turn it off or did you turn off the fuel 1st and let it die..?

On some small engines the carb will gum up if you leave fuel in the carb for more than 30 days
