Yea, the best anybody will say is “you probably won’t die”. When the fuel air mixture is perfect, the heaters produce CO2, at levels that aren’t harmful. If the fuel air mixture gets off, it produces CO at large levels.

If I was set on using one, I would at least get a CO alarm.
