    Have only met 2 people who seemed pretty happy with US Express, and that was a husband and wife team I invited to my home for thanksgiving dinner about 18 yrs ago.
    New drivers will almost always end up settling for less than optimal conditions while they get broke in, its actually a good thing there are some of these outfits around.
    When I started out, it was slow pay, and sometimes no pay jobs, of coarse I made a few greenhorn mistakes that costed my employer a few bucks as well!
    Nothing about trucking is ideal no matter where you go! ~adapt or perish~

    I was told up front at orientation, if you can get through your first year then you will make it most likely. Until then hang on for the ride.

    Not necessarily.

    Dispatchers do have favorites, and personal vendettas. I can certainly see where that may lead to "starving" for some. At that point, it's time to move on to greener pastures.
