He not only faces stiff fines, and jail time, but he will never be able to drive a commercial vehicle again.
A similar situation happened to a driver at the company I use to drive for.
The guy like to have a couple beers every night after parking. One day he forgot to get rid of the beer cans and the next morning he got pulled in at the scale for a level 1. Pulled in the bay, opened the door, and guess what fell out right in front of the DOT officer. You guessed it. 25 years of driving gone. He was arrested, truck impounded, and he received two counts of open container.

We live in the more corrupt and power abuser country of the world.
When you provide a cop with the probable cause tool the constitution is workless.

They save a lot on fuel by hiring small drivers.

You waive your 4th Amendment in public. It's been upheld over and over and over when in public in full view of everyone, you have very little rights and sometimes not even that depending on what state you are in.

Law Enforcement has become militarized since 9-11 They have the ability to learn about you in 5 minutes, make a decision what to do 2 minutes after that and one way or another, all bad guys will be removed from Society, the hard way or the easy way. Their choice.

If you are not a bad guy you have nothing to worry about.

You don’t lose your CDL for an open container ticket. Hell a Dwi only gets you a 1 year suspension in Missouri.

I never felt a wind, so maybe I am not with God in Spirit.

But I think God is with me in Spirit, and that is the next best thing - if not better.

    D.Tibbitt and Lepton1 Thank this.

    Don't you mean 'process' them?

No good drug goes unused, after all.

    Dave_in_AZ and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
