It could be legit but sometimes they get filled before an applicant can jump through all the hoops to get hired on. You'll have to get a physical, drug test and then go through orientation. Before you can finish all of that the position might be filled. If you're being recruited for a specific position try to get it in writing from the company.

I guess a lot depends on the location. If we're talking about a large metro area, then even if one offering falls through, perhaps another similar might be available.

These job/career changes always come with a certain amount of risk for a certain amount of reward. Best thing you can probably do is have a fairly reliable plan B and listen to your instincts and spidey senses.

It's not that they're "lying" to you. Dedicated accounts pay the highest referral bonus of all Because they have to hire and schedule orientation for literally 50 drivers just to have ONE still employed after 30 days. I'm a driver and always think driver-first, but honestly that's what happens with advertised positions that aren't available sometimes

they scheduled me for an interview and i dont know WHAT i should do. the job is indeed final mile appliance delivery. the interview is tentatively scheduled for friday and if i go im going to have to tell crocker i need a day off. it WOULD be a full time position that doesn't end in the fall and it is local (if they are being honest to me). the job is listed on their website.since crocker was slow with no work, i had to file for 3 days of unemployment, and i was REQUIRED to fullfill work search obligations and was required to fill out applications. i worked 2 days last week and have to supplement my income SOMEHOW. it looks like the delivery "teams" are two person. i really dont know what i should do.

Is that the type job that requires a stringent agility test and spinal X-ray review? The pre-employment may be an issue for many, anyway.

north java ny 14113. i have been driving since november of 2016. i work for AG spraying company that effected by the weather havent worked much lately this week looks better but come october i wont have a job anymore anyways. its seasonal and i will keep working there unless something comes up full time. its not a bad company just a seasonal job. i have a friend of mine that hauls milk he says i should try walton milk hauling and he thinks maybe they would hire me. i dont know if a smooth bore tanker is ideal for a fairly inexperienced driver, but im still tempted to give it a shot.

i dont know if working for JB hunt is really the best thing going forward. its not werner but it could be just as bad if not worse. it is a local position but i dont know if i want to work for them.
