I've been driving for just a little over a year, in that time I've been employed by Prime(I've read some bad things about them).
I also trained 2 students who already had their CDLs and were looking to get experience, both of whom were not so good.
One student ran over some grass in a parking lot, coincidentally this has shown up on my DAC report.
Another took a door of a trailer when backing up to a dock, and this is also on my DAC.
In both cases the student was the legal driver, I was on sleeper berth for the door coming off the trailer, and I may have been on duty for the grass. With that student it was still in the period of time where I was deciding if he was capable of running Team with me so I believe it's possible I was on duty.
Now my question is should these be on my DAC, and if not how the heck do I get them off?
Possibly dumb question regarding DAC

you can't do a good job training while in the sleeper berth,,

Prime had us running team at that point.
They start off people straight from school with a TNT guy(like myself) you drive a week or so to get an idea if the person is cut out for driving and to build your trust in their abilities, and then straight into team because as a lease operator I'm paying their salary. -

Thanks, I requested one recently after a local company told me they wouldn't be able to hire me because they couldn't verify my previous employment.
I have not received yet, I'm just curious as to whether something that happened while my trainee was the legal driver should go on my DAC report? -
As I said, an interesting question. I would certainly like to know how you come out on this one. Keep us posted, will you please? -
For running over grass?
You've got to be kidding. -
this is an other reason for drivers to keep a personal journal reocording everything they do each day on the road including conversations with their dispatcher //
Davem3TF Thanks this.
