Nice decision; Walmart or MC VanKampen. Good luck, you're on the right path.

Thanks. Not ruling out staying where I’m at. Not doing anything until I have a job lined up. More money isn’t always the best path. However giving up two hours on each end is getting old. Plus after this last bs making me think. Out of 3 weeks out I sat 7 days, had to argue to get some reset pay at $75 flat and two layover pays. Plus ghosted to get a hotel room. Yeah thinking cap has to go on.

Marten dedicated may not be the best money out there -- but it should definitely keep you rolling.

Also -- Marten PAYS YOU to shut down/park it -- when the weather/roads get bad.

A former co-worker drove for them for several years, prior to doing fuel.

He had nothing negative to say about them.

    Smooth move....!

Fuel delivery. See if KAG Energy is hiring in your area.

Not the best, not the worst.

If local, home everyday. Try Pilot fuel hauling. I talked with a supervisor in Houston. They hire everywhere. He said it's easy. Always haul same thing. Hourly pay. No worries about waiting to load up. Make just under $100k. Easy with a little overtime to get over $100k.
One other is Pyle in NE doing reefer. Talked with a guy at a DC. He said it's easy. Home everyday. Do alot of drop and hook. No door sitting. If I remember right. Pyle headquarters in Joisey. The DC I talked to the guy...geesh...was that Penn?
