I am employed by one of the big starter companies. I have been driving for two years.
I had an accident in January. Three vehicle accident. Rear-ended another vehicle. No fatalities. No injuries. Vehicle damage to vehicle twos and three; no vehicle damage to truck.
Negative for alcohol. Negative for drugs.
I am probably looking at termination for a preventable accident.
Would it be better to resign? or allow them to terminate my employment?
Any information would be helpful.

I'd ride it out depending on the situation.
What were you charged with? If you were charged with reckless driving, you will definately be fired and unemployable OTR for three years.
Other than that, they'll look at your two years employment and if you were a good productive driver they'll probably give you a second chance.
The thing is if you get fired, you'll probably be able to draw unemployment. You quit, you won't. A new job, they'll look at the accident and circumstances. Whether you got fired or quit is redundant. Many companies will say no more than three accidents or moving violations in three years. Case by case basis though. -
I dont think I would quit under the circumstances, unless you dont like the job.
