I had a landing gear with a temper like that once.
It wasn't worth it. The partially froze up ones are more predictable.![]()

Thanks Hurst! The plate has a nice rounded edge to it so I wasn't too worried about chafing, noticed when I jumped out though after they "settled" there are 2 belts hitting a sharpish edge on one side of the lower plate though ill clean up when I carry on after the weekend; definitely gonna give em a twist once I start pulling skids off though (forehead slap)
Just once after its all loaded but the weather looks lousy next week so theres gonna be a lot of dicking around with them. When its nice out ill just pull em off at the first drop and roll em back up....just started this run this winter though so I'm looking forward to when I can actually do that haha
Ohhhhh that would have been nice Nate I'm too hard up right now to share the pie though the "company truck preload service" ain't cheap lol. Next time I see a monster of a load sheet like this one I might have to look into that haha. Most weeks it's about 1/3-1/2 of what's on there nownate980 and DDlighttruck Thank this. -
Haha, I had another friend make a similar comment.DDlighttruck, Old Iron, street beater and 1 other person Thank this.

Must be injury week. One of our shop mechanics was helping pull a Pittman arm. He was laying under the truck while another guy was up above. Heavy hammer and a removal tool. When it finally let go, the removal tool (3-4 pounds probably) fell and hit him square in the mouth. Six stitches (on the inside) later he's back to work.
