I always used electrical tape on my 2 inch straps. Left enough out for a few clicks. If you need more than a few clicks you need to redo the strap anyways cause you'll get too much in the ratchet.

I think I'm getting two of them tomorrow. I think I have enough to legally do one with chains, I don't want to use straps. May have to go shopping beforehand.Oxbow, SAR and Crusader66 Thank this. -
They make it easy by putting a little sticker near the tie down points so even a Landstar driver can figure it out. That machine weighed 27K. -

Alright guys, been awhile since I posted pics. Not much to write home about, but i grabed some of my current deal. As ya know im waiting for the new tractor so im 10 wheel molly till then. (No offense mj)
The dark ones are commercial water heaters, the rest was todays project. 1 and a half to load n strap, 45 min unload, goofy crap.
