I have a smoke tarp, tho I never carry it.
102" fitted corners with about a foot behind the corners. Bout 102" from the straight bottom to the corner for the top. Grommets every foot around the back edge of the flap, and two rows of grommets (1' each) above the row of grommets running across the bottom lip. 18oz black

It's flat (sorta), it's a bed, does it count?

Sorry, just kidding, but still I had to do it. Bored...

Got back to my preload- every blue unit was hanging off the side a foot or more :/ good thing I have keys to the building and forklifts... Got all the way out to my truck and the one I picked ran out of propane :/

How is it possible for a load to look pretty and ugly at the same time?

Edit to add, they always run out farthest from the cage... think its designed that way....

Picked this up at a fracking site near OKC this morning, delivering in San Antonio tomorrow morning, then grabbing a load of drill pipe for a backhaul.

^^^ I was seriously thinking of stopping at a Lowe's or Home Depot to buy a 4x8' sheet of hardwood plywood, but I didn't. The plan was to cut it in 2x2' squares to lay on the deck so the frack trees can be low to the deck. Fortunately the frack site had a few softwood 2x2's. It seems we are hauling more of these frack trees. I am definitely getting some hardwood plywood to help keep the load more stable and prevent dents and holes in the aluminum deck.

Alright fellow deckbros, I need some opinions.

Had an orientation class this week. One person I had brought up a point about snap binders. The point was, he heard a good old trucker yarn from a friend about the friend getting a ticket for using a bungee to close a snap binder rather than wire, zip-tie, etc. The DOT/MOT officer had said "it's illegal to use a bungee".

I dug into the National Standards Code 10 (Canada's green book) and couldn't find anything. I need some input please. (Preferably constructive input :p) Not sure where the ticket was given though, either here or down South.

I've always been told that technically a bungee is illegal to use because it doesn't have a load limit on it. Now wire doesn't also but you can find one for it. I've always used bungees and never once been questioned. Personally think it's one of those looked over type of rules

I got popped on a written warning on tarp straps in Tn. I had 2 holding a short deck board down. Unsecured dunnage out of service.
