Cruising over at the Sarnia crossing I69.

This is my route based on my permits. No i75 travel beyond i71 interchange. I honestly cant understand why they want me to go through Nashville. My Tennessee permit is giving me an open route.

I'm supposed to be overall 88ft, and if I'm reading the rules correctly im going to need escorts in Kentucky. My permit lists me as having escorts on 2 lane roads, I'm assuming that does that include interstates? I swear some of the od rules are like reading tax codes.

 

And if I'm reading this correct I will need to run them

 

Only coop between London and Sarnia is the Putnam one, depends where you load. Make sure to watch your speed in ON, kinda like Michigan. Michigan is miserable to run in.

 

@Gunner75 Good luck friend. This is why I don't want to specialize in OD. I don't feel the extra cash is worth these headaches.

 

Do you need escorts in ON?

Edit: I was 11'6" wide, no escorts, and on a 53' trailer no overhang. Coop said no beacons needed as per what you posted for rules.

I added an edit. Y'all are too fast. I was told go the posted speed limits and no escorts = no beacons

 

Well I'll be 10ft wide with a stretch drop trailer, 54ft tank, 10ft of top deck, 24ft of truck length. Total weight says 6500lbs, but that doesn't sound right, I'm thinking they told them 6500kgs. That would make it about 14300lbs...assuming my math is right

 

Best bet is call a coop.

I was coming in from Michigan and stopped at the EB Sarnia scale house to check if I was legal. I guess perversely you could purposely go to the Putnam scale and ask if you was legal.
