Definitely. When I'm coming back into Canada, I send a ACI lead sheet (with PARS sticker) with the shipper's customs ppw (with second of two PARS stickers) and their bills of lading to the broker via fax.

They do their thing and get it cleared with customs (yesterday for instance I sent it at 11:45 am and it was cleared by 3:30 pm). I arrive at the crossing, hand the customs officer my passport and ACI, they look at it, verify the info, ask me some general questions, I get the stamp and a "have a great day".

Or the less polite, but equally pleasing "seeya" or "carry on" because they are looking for people who aren't originally from Canada to inspect more thoroughly.

Your broker there @Gunner75 must not like money, them not being on the ball for this load must be costing them an absolute fortune.

 

They are getting charged nearly double the original cost due to their screw up. Thankfully we didn't have to get new permits

A newer used truck lol going from a 09 kw t2000 to a 13 freightliner cascadia midroof.
