Front and rear axles are lift axles. Modern trailers have steer axles front and back.

1catfish, Oxbow, cke and 1 other person Thank this.

So the 3 in the middle stay down?

That’s a lot of tailswing when you’re empty.

    cke Thanks this.

It won't hit anything but it gets close enough to scare people. On my old trailer with a side kit on it we had a customer that tore the last rope off a few times with no damage to the rubrail or the post lol. I couldnt figure it out at first than l put two and two together. This trailer has a 12" extension on the deck so I'm extra carefull with it.

Oxbow and MACK E-6 Thank this.

Shouldn't have to worry about being heavy on the drives anyways ;)

It was right around 39400 on the spread with about 21 on the drives. Got a bit squirrelly through the mountains.

Then it was ok until I got to the delivery. No one would answer the phone. All I knew was that it was a job site at a school, and the address. Google shows a school at that address, right in the middle of a newish subdivision, with the narrow streets that seem to be in vogue right now. My GPS shows the address being in the spot. Couldn't get ahold of anyone until I got there. Go figure, they need me a mile and a half a way, so I get to worm that back out and then through the construction zone. No cul-de-sacs though @MACK E-6

cke and MACK E-6 Thank this.

    Daddy daughter project day.

The oversize flip board on my front bumper has been out of commission for several months so I got the rivet gun some stainless steel rivets, some heavy duty stainless hinges and drilled out the old rivets and showed her how to rivet them in place. She did good. Love spending time with my kids doing "dad stuff" 20180318_125945.jpg
