I’ve never seen a truck like that in Leipsic, you can run them in the counties that touch Michigan but not that far down.

SAR, Oxbow and cke Thank this.

They don't have many, most of the trailers they have up there are their triaxle doubles.

I ran my 6 axle into Leipsic a lot in the early 2000's. Brought out a small 33000lb single coil. Then would pick up a cheap 50-55000 coil in michigan and head for home.Used to beg my boss to get us permits so we could double up out of Leipsic. The small one payed more than the big one. Young and greedy lol

    Oxbow and Opendeck Thank this.

Been seeing a lot more of these south of Indy on I-65. Sometimes the extra axles are down and sometimes the extra axles are up. Didn't start seeing them until about three years ago and even then it was a rarity and now it is one every couple of miles.

    Zeviander and Oxbow Thank this.

So glad this day is officially over. Knees, back, neck, everything hurts. Loaded up with these two bad boys. At 149 inches wide. 20180319_165724.jpg
Took awhile to get loaded because I was severely overweight to one side of the trailer. They were leaning about 7 inches, no matter what I tried on repositioning, I couldn't get the lean out, so we use about 10k lbs worth of counter balance to fix it. This day has not been fun at all. 20180319_165737.jpg

Oh and they have to be tarped.... heading to Tampa Florida

Zeviander, Long FLD, stwik and 6 others Thank this.

Looks like a nightmare. Could you have put the 2nd one from the other side? Or would have that made you too wide?

    Tug Toy Thanks this.
