why not just put them flat on trailer, is this not a permit load anyways?

 

That would make them wider. Depending on where he's going it could add to the restrictions, start requiring pilot cars, etc.

 

Yes it is a permit load, and I already have an escort, laying these flat would have me at 15 and a half feet wide. Which would require a front and rear escort.

 

The second I was told those had to be tarped, Id tell them to take them off my trailer

 

Doesn’t really work that way as a company driver at that company.

 

Wish I had that option, but this load pays really well from cincy to palmetto Florida. Tarping annoys me, but I don't get no $50 to tarp a load. I get about 4 to 5 times that. All depends on the load
