Or run the wheels over a rock or curb large enough to hit the box between the spread.

    You speaking from experience? :p

I like Merritt. No complaints. Holds up well and I’m one of those guys putting 100 pounds of #### in a 50 pound bucket if you know what I mean...

Not so far; I had the tech tell me they couldn't lower the boxes on my steps (for winch clearance) bc if I drug the trailer over rock/whatever it'd rip the box off... I pointed out the underlift for the rear axle was several inches lower-

Some people sure make you wonder how they're still alive past childhood.

These are Bawer boxes from tarp stop. The corners are just butt welded. I put triangle braces on them and 5/8 plywood across the bottom. I have 3 on my unit. The 3rd one I had to wait almost 3 months to get as they were out of stock. I’ve had one of them for over 1 year and the other 2 were put on this spring.

Don't think I ever posted these. First I ended up doing the tightrope walk on top of the frames to tarp the front half. Second one the reel was rotten and holding a lot of steel wire rope. IMG_20171024_131459.jpg IMG_20171025_172419.jpg

Worst part about the step one was there were 30+ loose wire rope pulleys in differing shapes and I had to wind the chains I had through each and every one to make sure they were secure because the guys loading thought they'd just fit piled loose on a 6x6 pallet. The pulleys we're on articulated mounts with 2 or 3 way designs each unique.
