Interesting. Seems I get twists no matter how I roll um.

 

If you throw the hook you will always get a twist.

I was a pitcher in baseball. It's an art.

 

I don't use straps anymore, but I always put a twist in my ratchet binders...

 

Makes sense and I have to unless every time I load I pull the straps off just to throw them they have to stay on the winches and I hate that especially in winter

 

Hmm what twist in chains? Like see example.

Just like the twist in straps I learned it on here to keep the straps from slaping.
My flatbed securment training consisted of a 5 min video, handed and securment stack of papers and one load of limestone blocks were another driver watched me put on the 6 chains no instructions just watched.
Good thing I pay attention to others have a little bit of common sense and you all here to tell me what I did wrong or advice on better ways.
