They are utilized for water and septic leach fields. Small diameter=septic; wide diameter=water.
Vs using cement basins/tanks and lots of pipe.

Got it. That's pretty cool. Makes sense, too. Thanks for explaining.

Out following the brown brick road ;) 20180927_094506.jpg 20180927_094446_HDR.jpg Unfortunately no Wizard at the end to solve all my issues. Would have hated to be on the crew that laid all these interlocking bricks years ago. Fun fun

Weekend load. Dang small ones are more work then the big machines. Trailer was too tall and had to put blocking down so the belly pan wouldn’t scrape.

That's quite a long neck on that trailer.

Normal neck. My 5th wheel is directly over my rear axle. Only time I ever move it is if I need to take the neck off or I need to actually load the suspension properly. We have it set up that way for some really wide stuff we do.

    cke and PoleCrusher Thank this.

I am not being sarcastic here; how does having your fifth wheel that far back affect hauling wide loads, unless you jackknife over 90 degrees?

SAR, cke, johndeere4020 and 2 others Thank this.

If you’re 14 foot wide (or more) right at the front of the trailer and don’t have a ton of frame between the back of the cab in the front of the trailer you’d want to run your fifth wheel back.

SAR, sawmill, TripleSix and 6 others Thank this.

I might be wrong here, but I think oxbow might have ment why have the fifthwheel that far back pulling a RGN pulling the wide stuff. Unless the wide stuff is up over the top deck of the neck.

Not sure what hes hauling though.

SAR, sawmill, cke and 4 others Thank this.
