    I’m not a big fan of sliding my 5th wheel when I can’t take the weight off the slider. Hard on the drive train. I did just pick up a can of dry graphite spray. I put some on the slider and everything worked like butter. So my opinion on this may be changing. With the way my ramps are built I have to slide my fifth wheel all the way back to use them.

    My Mack had a manual release slider. The only way you were working that was to unlatch it before you back under the trailer, and hope the impact of the fifth wheel bumping the kingpin would be enough to unbind the slider latches.

    She’s going in soon for a thorough refreshing. :)
    I’m bout to put new doors on her as part of that. Got a crack on the drivers door on the inside of the metal frame bout 3/4” long. That ain’t gonna get better. Debating on door w the peep window for the passenger side...
    I’m also debating stainless air cans- I love the old 13” painted ones on there; I’ve had them redone and they just turn to #### so fast it’s hard to feel good about it.
