11'8" wide. Got stuck sitting right there for 2 hours until O/S curfew ended. The things are chicken coops (3 of them). they drag them along the ground for pastured poultry. I think they missed the memo on building coops out of leftover pallets and scrap wood.

Yeah i know, i hate those boxes too. At first they said 1 box and i said throw it in the cab. then it was a spare tire (?) and then it was 3 more boxes and such. But they aren't going anywhere. it's all metal in those boxes.

I’ve had people ask me all the time when there’s a box like that if it can go inside my cab. I hate that. One time they wanted to put fittings inside my dunnage rack. That load looks like a blast.

the load was fun actually. first it's way in the old part of town (as you can tell) and had to back down an alley 3 blocks just to get to the "warehouse". Then I get there and I get the age old story "boy i sure wish someone had called, because it's going to take me a while to put the load together". That's the whole shop you are staring at behind my trailer. So these were stored further down the alley. They had to get two forklifts (1 on each end, 35 feet long and bring the frames back and put them in the shop. Then lift the frames up with the overhead frame. Then go get the next frame and drive it underneath and then set the 1st frame on top of the 2nd frame. Repeat for 3rd frame. Then they lift the whole thing up. And i had to back the truck in.

. Then they had to put all the galvanized pieces (bundled nicely actually) on top. wasn't bad getting in, was a bit tricky getting out because i had to turn slightly to get out. was worried about dinging the door.

and then drive 12' wide in the ending of rush hour back to the yard. (curfew ends at 6pm)

They used to always want to put a couple gallons of touch up paint in my cab and I would never allow it. Sometimes I could fit stuff in the tray on my headache rack. Otherwise, we'd put boxes on a pallet and shrink wrap it. Shrink wrap is great for miscellaneous crap because then you're only worrying about 1 unit instead of a bunch of little stuff. Helps to weatherproof cardboard too!

@LoneCowboy , that load reminds me of some of the stuff I had to deal with...

This is an old picture but @LoneCowboy jogged my memory... Something like this doesn't have much weight to it so they would always want to "add more weight"
I would end up with some very creative loads of JUNK. Always irritated me because sometimes when you see a loose strap or whatever, it's not as easy to "stop on the shoulder" to check the load. memory card1 138.JPG

I know that, that’s why I asked where the and what the curfew is. I’m in no means an expert in curfews everywhere.

Most state DOTs will list them and i tried to get you the link but noooooooooooooo the computer blew up.

For most of Denver metro it's 6am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm. Mon-Fri for moving oversize loads.

    cke Thanks this.

I apologize for asking, I’m also aware of the states listing their respective rules and where to find them. I was asking where this particular load was and what the curfews were. Never mind
