Did this tarp job (8 blankets, 8 straps, tarping) in 55 minutes so kind of proud of myself.

I really didn’t know what to do with it. I only tarp 1-2 times a month. I’ve seen other drivers do it so I tried it out. Honestly I saw zero flapping and it worked great for 1300 miles.

CF14AC09-7310-4131-8F22-C4FEA571DEA0.jpeg I don’t think I took a picture of the load but I’m only about 11 wide and anytime your over 9ft Norfolk City makes you get an escort for city streets. $275 to escort me from the exit of the place I’m picking up at to the interstate which is right there in the picture..... I turn left and won’t even straighten up before I turn right to get on 464..... o_O

And on a positive note. Any of you who order those city permits you know it can be 24-72 hours before you get it back especially Norfolk,, I ordered mine at 10am and it was emailed to me at 430!!!!!! Biggest surprise ever...

I like to fold the excess underneath itself it works good and makes it look sharp,.. Just start with like a 1 foot increments until u have none left... Grab the end of the tail with ur right hand then grab ur left hand about 1 ft in front of that then take whats in ur right and tuck it with whats in ur left, do that on one side then move to the other and then the middle..keep going until u reach the freight... Once u get it all tucked, find a gromit or d ring on each side towards the bottom and pull it down and forward as far as u can , and it will stay nice and tucked in... I like to pull the middle forward also to keep that part from coming untucked... A little extra work but makes it look real sharp
