Few years ago I had a load of wash sand in totes heading to a water treatment plant in Leadville. Let me tell you at 10,000+ feet I was huffing and puffing rolling up the tarp.
It was a gov run facility built to treat ground water coming out of some old turn of the century mine.
I guess the government couldn't find any sand closer than Wisconsin...

Here’s one of our new trailers, very efficient at getting over height legal

Am I seeing that right? Does the trailer have sections that fold down to lower the height? If so, that's just slicker than ####.

    PoleCrusher and Aamcotrans Thank this.

Looks like the wheel wells are covered by the sections stored below the deck. Pretty nifty, but doesn't look like the wells move.

PPLC, PoleCrusher and kylefitzy Thank this.

The wells do not move, but I’ve hauled 20k to 50k loaders and they all fit.

We did a job on 50th St in Manhattan once. Took a bunch of pretty stout beams down that they installed in the roadbed while they excavated underneath.

there's the crane sitting on them. I delivered a lot of loads down there at night. Would park on Madison Ave @ 50th (behind St Patricks and next to NY Palace, same spot as the opening scene of movie 27 Dresses) Anyways, first time I went there during daytime, I park and went to find someone. When I got back to the truck, there was a parking ticket on it!
