Did that big one near the back come off the pallet? I used to haul loads like that all the time and HATED them! Most of the time the plates would still have cutting oil all over them from being drilled so you can bet they'd be slippery and want to slide... Our guys would hardly ever use bands or if they did, they'd do a terrible job. Shrink wrap was usually my friend...

so, I get told i have to go pick up some 2'x2' concrete pads. They use them for oil and gas stations for supporting pipes and such. like you'd put under a landing gear, but concrete.

I'm thinking, OMG, there's going to be a million of these on one trailer and it's going about a 100 miles including 15 miles of goat trail errr dirt road to some big old compressor station they are building. Turns out they put them on pallets so that's going to be at least easier to load.

So I go get loaded up.

    yep, that's the whole load
That's like 6000lbs, but still that's the whole load.

You’re right. Technically I needed 3 straps for that 12’ long piece. They are lucky I even put one on there. It’s in a QuickDraw for Pete’s sake.

All jokes aside, I'd honestly be concerned with it twisting under the one strap.

It wasn't heavy enough to twist. It was 1 12’x1”x1” piece of aluminum angle. I carried it to the door and handed it to the receiving guy.

Oxbow, booley and cke Thank this.
