Probably in 83 or 4 I left Houston late one night and was headed north on I-45. I topped a litle hill up north of spring somewhere and there were more flashing lights than I had ever seen. I rode past I don't know how many cops and they had a whole herd of harleys stopped. I later got tired and stopped at a big rest area up close to huntsville iirc, and parked behind a white van, hicked my heels up on the handle bars and took a nap. I work up to the whole herd rumbling in and they surrounded me and parked, opened the doors on he van and thee was 2 kegs, ready to drink. I laid there real quiet like with one half open wandering how this was going to turn out when these bandits noticed a honda in their midst, I finally got up and got a beer and partied with them a while. lol

I'm currently in the market for a TW200 to put on the front of my truck. It just seems like the best place for it when you've gotta get to the headache rack.

Yea, it makes sense, but I was wanting a heavier bike than I could put up front. I followed your thread on it.
Hear lately I have been noticing some of the old honda trail 90's and 110's coming up on craigslist, one of them in good shape would be nice for somehing like that.
Iirc, some of them even folded up.

Out of all the harley owners I've known. Couple hundred at this point. One sold his 2013 roading with 2800 miles. Another has a custom setup with airbags and all. Tried raising it up to stay with the group in the mountains, cause he was scraping his chrome pipes. After a few minutes he put it back down because it "felt weird" and just decided to go slower.
Dont get me wrong the real harley riders will stack miles on like crazy. But almost none ever want to go actually ride. Its gonna rain, or let's go here and have a beer. I dont own bikes to look at, I want to ride.
I have a friend that just put 25k miles on his Triumph Tiger in less than 18 months. All over us and Canada.

Well, no matter what they ride, there's bikers and there's posers.

I currently ride a '97 Dyna Low Rider(one cam and a carb, the way it ought to be). The previous bike was an '04 ZZ-R 1200, bought NOS in '06 and traded with 66K+ on it. You ride to 'look cool' or you ride because you want to.
