20190911_065223.jpg Annnnnd stop. Picked up this morning, check tires, dropped with no tread yay. Keep on checking. Broken weld on the rails,, and when i mean broken I mean half the side of the trailer is broken. Went to the frame to get it there and get the load off and im am putting a pile of red tags on this thing.
Shes seen better days. Had a disscussion with shuttle driver on this. Trailer is not ours but load is, other company gets to find out they infact have half a trailer.

Yep, i saw the bend in the side and dropped into the sailors thesaurus for more eloquent language to describe my frustration. Then checked under to find exactly what i knew id find.

Not our equipment, the other company drives thier stuff into the ground unfortunately. Same rail has been welded multiple times as i was looking at it. Its about to be not my problem. Shuttle driver who is ours.... Gonna do a better job next time

yea as i was reading, i was like "ok i can understand missing a broken weld on ONE thing, OH DAYUUUMMM"
yea there is no excuse for that and he could have lost his job hauling that, or his life...
The tire is what id be ripping his butt over, theres no excuse for not checking that

    PoleCrusher Thanks this.

That became apparent as i was looking at it. I was not the guy who originally secured it. This was another discussion to be had on a team wide basis. About pulling outward like that. Cause in most cases its a good way to at very least rip out a winch or tear up a track. In this case rip half the bloody side off. Which is why i went down to the frame.

Now if we could get roughly 10 other drivers from 2 companies that are not ours to cooperate this crap might stop.

And the thing is, most the time a double t is on a trailer like this. They might as well be barely secured. They get away with it. Put a over wide wall or slab. They crank on it a bit and snap.

And thats what i ripped him for the most. Cause he dropped the day before. I come grab in early morning, had he posted it, he would have saw it and it woulda been fixed over night. But nope.

Oh well,,, this is what happens when team work gets involved.

    Tuesday
Went over to get pre-cast wall panels. I'm thinking those things that are on like an a-frame. nope:

Why they are on a stepdeck I have no idea. Of course like all concrete brittle as heck, you can't really crank down on them.

Then over to a construction site to move some big old 4x10x8. yeah, they were heavy. Whole 'nother trailer load later too, but they got to stack all that neatly and band it.

Double T's yesterday. The jobsite actually has a ton of room. (currently) but getting there is not fun (downtown)
