Yeah its like 8 tall, 8 wide, 30feet long, legal load. needs 8ft tarps pays $1100.

"Okay, theres like, low bridges out there so i like, need real dimensions. Please call the shipper and get the exact measurements and find out if there are any conveyors, smog hogs, pipes, alarm lights or lift tabs that stick out. I also need to know if its measured from the dunnage or the floor."

Ok. ...calls back... Yup its 8 high 8 wide and 30 long.

"Youre SURE? Machines arent usually just square like that. Those are exact dimensions?"

He fudges the ratecon up which halts progress wednesday then part of thursday morning. Finally fixed paper end, i go through a bunch of BS to get contractor plastic to ensure itll stay dry in the surprise rain with my ehhh condition tarps.. shipper routes me there via a 12'2" underpass thank god im midroof...

I get to a sketchy abandoned factory in a cornfield, no one in sight. It makes about as much sense as an iPhone kiosk in the sahara. Find the crew, back in.. Sweet machine, easy tarp job, balanced lift eye, gantry crane.. Nice..

But wait, theres more..



I am absolutely confident the crew gave this turd good dimensions, they knew it to the inch offhand and swore he had it in writing. Not some 8 x 8 x 30 BS. He didnt seem surprised when i told him its oversize either.. then offers me $200 extra to get permits for PA, NY, CT as the sun is setting. I think he did it on purpose hoping someone would just chance it once they were sitting there. Then he says they cant pay tonu because they are still offering me the load. Well to hell with justin and jesse at GREATWIDE CHEETER.

Not sure I just run local. I know they also make a 185 foot, but I’ve never seen one.
