Stayed in vegas for weekend with the rebar. Delivered this morning in Fontana, and picked up these SuperSacks of carbon for the plant, in Queen creek. My load wont be ready till the morning at least, so ill drop this off then and grab it, supposed to be 40footers (rebar.) Those will be headed for Ruidoso NM, with an instant empty return.

Nothing much that I can think of. It is really a tourist type place. There is a sawmill on the res, just west of ruidosa, but I bet it pays better to run empty. lol

No work since last week, so here's a few from 2 yrs ago. I took 3 loads up here, the 1st was the bolts and short beams. Then 2 loads of 80 ft beams...and the final result being a bridge in upstate NY (waayy upstate) IMG_0867.JPG IMG_0886.JPG IMG_0887.JPG

I saw a pretty long bridgebeam go by the other day on a steerable dolley [at a glance] that looked just like a truck chassis from what i caught. Dualed tandems on back and singles on a steer beam up front. Does that just follow the beam or does the driver steer it from the power unit? Im guessing the latter since it'd need to swing way out. There was no operator station on the back or anything that i could see.
