empty just going back to the leasing place. (heh)

Then had to take a double drop (turns out to be a stretch double drop, did not know this, good thing another drive knew how to stretch it, i had no clue. the valves were hidden) down to a place and drop it.

TBF the loader was really good and they banded everything.

Then the ugliest load i've ever done. This thing was AWFUL

    the other side:

Aluminum trusses. 10' wide. So you can't crank down on them, the stuff just bends, they can't use dunnage, the stuff just bends. Look closely and you'll see that now they are screwing everything into one big piece with supports and such (the up/down pieces), but basically it's going to make one big pile on the side of the road instead of 100 little ones. Yuck, no way to really "secure" it. I threw the straps right on the supports (some you can see some you can't) and i still bent one.

And then another load to the airport. 60' beams

Delivered this lumber load today down in Fresno CA. There's another skateboard on my left. Part of that side box is covered by the fairing. Its quite a bit longer actually.

The truck im referring too previously is not this one.

How are they managing to make trucks so #### heavy these days? My LT tips the scales just a thousand under yours.

I carry a ton of gear and 300 gallons of fuel. That’s mostly why I’m so heavy. Those LTs are the heaviest trucks in our fleet.

Every now n again I do a move for Pratt of one of those octagonal plastic decking made “crates” that weighs like 400 lbs. they throw loose stuff in garbage bags in it and I move it 45(?) miles. Sometimes they use the 8’ across crates and sometimes they use 9’ wide crates.... can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of “well the big one was on top of the crate pile so that’s the one we used” while I’m charging $$$$ to move it. Fan case rings they do the same thing: half the time they put a 7’ ring in a 9’ crate.

I bought stock in United technologies and it’s doing quite well. Sure wonder how much better that stock would do if the stupidity that costs them so much was rectified.

    That is pretty funny.

I gave up trying to make heads and tails of what my customers do a long Time ago.

My favorite is we had two truck dedicated to one customer for awhile. Every week they would load a full load of of crates parts and deliver them 1100 miles away. Then reload the empty crates from the previous week, haul them 1100 miles, straight to the trash pile at the first customer.

“We want your parts, not your empty crates”
