Most of my stuff comes banded with #9 wire. Occasionally, it will have smaller steel straps that the end one is already broken on.

Been a busy week. Monday off due to snow, snowed the rest of the week too but they don't care. bah. (I do though, way rather sit at home and be lazy)
Tuesday did the conestoga run to the mines. chain up (again) and go over some roads that were just WHITE ON WHITE. was not fun. Looks like every other connie, no pics.
Wednesday we do two runs of these. Supposed to do 3 but the snow came in and the delivery point was in mountains.
On the 2nd one I got stuck, another guy had to pull me out, tiny little slope, just enough sun to melt the top and poof, stuck like a duck in a truck.
Then Thursday they say "oh go to this place and get this oversize manhole/box and take it up to the east end of the moffet tunnel at like 11,000 feet and 10 miles up some winding dirt road. Ummmmmm, you do realize it's snowing right? and it's going to snow a lot more in the mtns???
They finally cancel when we are like 15 minutes away from the loading place. so they say well just load up some manholes and run up to cheyenne and then come back and load the big box.
So 4 hours for them to load this.
Actually didn't' have enough time to get back to preload it. (although i guess they cancelled for Friday anyway)Last edited: Feb 15, 2020
