I don’t believe titanium rusts, it was tarped to keep road grime off of the load. We also have this policy where we always tarp titanium, they act like the stuffs gold or something.

    This^
    Huh?
I was concerned about using straps (like everyone else does) because of all the sharp edges. Chains are a pain in the ### to tighten on a tarpped load, especially if the load is on that want to settle as you’re going down the road. This way requires a little more equipment but it worked great.

I'd be on the lookout for that scale to be open Monday!!! Illinois opened up its scales the past couple days after being closed for the virus.... They was making up for lost time yesterday at the rear of the Sherman scale off I-55  Catching everyone off guard with level 1 inspections.

It will probably be my luck it will be open... these dang rock loads , come out heavy everytime , hard to estimate how much the rocks weigh , being all different sizes. Last time 12 pallets i was 76k. this time same number of pallets and rocks is 84k. Air psi gauge hard to tell since its always on unlevel ground. No scale or truck stop within 100 miles ... oh well . Guess i will find out my fate monday am
