Thats one of those loads where you see the forklift driving around with those pipes thinking to yourself

" i feel bad for the guy that gets that crap"

"Wait , why is he headed towards me , ?"

    "Son of a ....."

@D.Tibbitt I didn't realize you're in Montana. Part of the reason we're sticking with this, is to not be tied down to a shale play anymore, and the goal is to get to Montana. How does living up there affect what you do? Is it any harder to find freight?

I run for all direct customers . I dont think there is really a market up here otherwise . I think it would be tough to work up here with ur own authority . But there is plenty of spot market stuff moving around regionally. Washington, idaho, utah, montana, arizona.

Regional and regular OTR is fine. Just figuring I'd be looking at a strong dead head to my first load to get into the thick of things each time I left the house. Wondering if moving there would be a death sentence to my company.

Depends what part of montana. Ideally u would wanna stay around i15 and west of that. Even then ur still looking at a good deadhead for good freight . Either to spokane 180 miles or seattle 400 miles. Nothing good paying going east . U would probably have to run north and south to make it on the spot market but its really gonna be tough

Have you looked at the home prices in Montana? I have and was blown back. Had to cross it off my wish list... To pricey for me.

Yep , i could buy 2 maybe 3 brand new houses where i live in az, for the price of 1 average sized decent condition house in montana . Its ridiculous
