    Cutting a long story short,
a co-worker off mine,in a hurry to finish for the day so he could go home.
Steel pipe, poor securement and son +wife in the cab.
Wife dead, son broke bones and no insurance to cover the wife(only 2 seats in the cab so insurancecompagny only insured 2 out off the 3 and off course they paid out on the cheapest )
Trust me,the feeling he had/still has (and it is 20y ago this happend) is that tickets don't really matter, even putting back a shifted load is doable.
    Killing/injuring someone that's another story.
One you can never erase or forget.

ps i did the cleanup off that load.

  3. I had a 4 wheeler decide to do a "brake check" in front of me in Oregon. Front bundle slid 4". Glad I had more than a couple straps on.

I had wife and kid in truck coming down from oregon going to drop them at her parents house.

I wouldn't want 6" x 12" x 20' planks to relocate into cab. The headache rack would slow it down a little, but stop , I'm doubtful.

Never can one have to much securment but one can have not enough.
Just like you can go down a hill slow a 1000+ times but fast might just be the one and only time.
