They dont go all the way thru. It is just made for hooking chain and binder and pulling straight down. Which i dont have enough binders for. The weight on the mini. Id have to look at paperwork but its less than 10k

most guys will use slip hooks on one chains - they have a wider throat for hooking to d rings or hooking to tie down points

Ya i think i stepped on a couple toes on this site , last couple days. Never meant to. Just hard for me to understand equipment since i never do it...and i find it condiscending when someone says im doing it wrong but dont offer a better way to do it with the equipment i have .... Id rather throw tarps anyways.

Not so. There is something to learn everyday - even the most experienced guys ask questions or do with what they have when they get a curve ball. I have arrived at loads and had to source equipment to tie a load down,

Nothing terrible with the way you tied that down - it didn’t fall off right?

No it didnt fall off . Just hate to not know how to do something the right way . I think i will not do equipment anymore . Leave it to the professionals like yourself.

I was actually reading you post and thinking I have so much to learn but even some seasoned pros are also still learning. I really appreciate all the photos and questions and answers on the group. It is the first place I venture when I log on.

F4T6UY, PoleCrusher, LTL Bull and 7 others Thank this.

Roofing underlayment... plastic, wrapped in plastic and they still wanted it tarped. Hey they paid for it lolol.
They called for 6’... I should have brought my 4’ for because they would fit like a #### glove. I don’t have 6’ so brought the 8’. came out ok.

Perfect for V-boards also I think. Cross straps on front and back. Front also has a wood v-board, back I had to use a couple regular edge protectors. I zip tie my strap ends.
